So for the past couple weeks i have been secretly working with MACE Engineering.
2 Days ago i received my tune in the mail!
The tune they offer changes TCM (trans) and ECM (engine)
the cable from them is made by trifecta and it works on our G8s.

So far with my tune, I can rev in Park and Neutral upto ~6200RPM and my new driving redline is at ~7000 RPM, yes thats 50MPH in 1st hehe
car runs a lot smoother now and the pick up is much better. I'm going to re-do my exhaust and send them more data logs so they can work on making a better tune.
There tune also offers a Ghost Cam so it sounds cammed via the VVT and valve phasing..

I paid about $545 shipped def. worth it for they are MASTERS with the Alloytec/SIDI 3.6 Engine. They are developing a cam set up for our engines..

That's geat news. That should help the entire market out, knowing there's light at the end of the tunnel.
Notice any (when you can keep your foot out of it) mpg gains, etc?
You know those questions will surface.........soon

Hazer, great news, any idea on the HP or torque gains to your already existing mods? Guess I better get off my ass and do the CAI, plenium gasket, and exhaust mods.

It's nice to see more and more stuff for you guys with the V6. It's a shame GM didn't put the same V6 with DI that the Camaro has. Can't wait to see final numbers.

ZODIAC - Yep the 2010 G8 V6 was going to have it along with an optional 6 speed MT. Now, the new Caddy ATS will be going in that direction. The 2011 V6 CTS was the last year to be able to get the V6 with the MT. Pricing will be critical.

Roman1978 they are located in Australia, but do post worldwide, and if you get the cable with the first tune, you can just email the data logs to them in future and they email you the new tune file to update yourself. It's just the first tune that takes time because your waiting on the hardware for it to arrive.

As for the ghost cam, you turn it on and off via the cruise control button, just cruise on (no speed set) and the ghost cam is heard, turn it off, away it goes.

for anyone that already has an intake/tune, do we need to do anything like a crank relearn? i know for my 2.4L g6 i had to get a crank relearn when i installed that stuff and didnt and started having problems

I'm pretty sure the Mace tune Hazer installed was just plug and play.

ok i hope so, for the G6 i had a whole new ECM with the tune on it and all that but even before the tune with just the intake i needed a crank relearn since the air ratio was off..i dont really know a whole lot about all the specifics but it would be nice to not have to deal with any kinda relearns

Plug in the OBDII Reader in your car
one side USB in your laptop, and just follow the program instructions!!
