Cam swap and emmisions

Many here have done or plan to do a cam swap. My question is how will this effect the emissions? I would think that it would change them enough to be an issue at smog time. For those in states with stringent laws like here in CA how do you plan on getting around this?

On a side note where is that little spell check icon? It's not up there any more?

Emissions depends on the tune. It's been a couple years since I lived in Calif. I don't recall their emissions test. Is it on a dyno? Depending on the rpm used for the test, passing is possible. Idle testing would be an issue I think.
