Hello, boys, from the Bluegrass State!

It's been too long and I trust you're all doing well.

I traded my car. Did the deal with Premier Sports Cars our of Springfield Missouri. Great, great guys to do business with!

Here's the link:

http://www.premiercarsinventory.com/Vehicle/location-Springfield-Missouri-carsforsale/19390/2009-Pontiac-G8-GT.aspx

It's still in fantastic shape so I thought I'd post it for those trying to get into one of these cars and spend a little less cash.

BTW...

From the same website, here's my new car:

http://www.premiercarsinventory.com/Vehicle/location-Springfield-Missouri-carsforsale/17879/2010-Hyundai-Genesis-Coupe-38-Track-AT.aspx

Now...far be it from me to preclude any of you from the fun you so rightly deserve, so let the insults fly: "Did you get the chopstiks with bowl of rice, so on and so on..." As a matter of fact I'm really looking forward to it! I expect some really creative stuff from this crowd.

Not doing any mods, not gonna screw with the warranty. It's a tight little track package. It's fun to drive. And it's just quick enough for this old man.

Also...the son of a bitch is warrantied bumper to bumper for 10 years/100,000 miles; has 8,500 on it now!!!

Enjoyed getting to know a lot of you guys.

God bless to you and your families.

Mohican out!

I agree, not bad but I would have got the V8 Genesis instead ;-) It’s got well over 400 hp stock!

But...they aren't currently making one, right?

Saw one the other day...I think just the sedans were available this way.
4.6 available in 2011
5.0 available in 2012

OK, got it. Yeah, the do make a V-8 version of the sedan.

Part of my motivation in doing this was to be back in a coupe and bump up my fuel economy.

It was nice of you to leave the stock parts with the car for the next owner. Classy move.

Hate to be the one to say it, but the 10yr./100k mi factory warranty is Powertrain. B2B is 5yr./60k mi.

Beyond that, nice car! Yes a little slower than the G8 GT, but infinitely more "chuck-able" than the G8 GT.

No, my car is certified and though the standard certification warranty only re-establishes the powertrain warranty up to 100k, you can pay more (which I did) and make it a B2B warranty up to 10 yrs./100K.

So you bought an add-on warranty.

The warranty is a Hyundai warranty. With a certified car you can choose to convert the 100,000 mile power train warranty to a 100,000 mile B2B warranty (for $500) which is what I did.

Another way to say it: my car now has the exact same coverage as a new car except mine the B2B coverage no longer stops at 60k miles; it extends to 100k miles/10 years.

The genesis is pretty, but I don't think I could get over the Hyundai part...
