I have an intake that I made from Spectre parts and filter. I went with Rotofab when I bought my VMS tune. $90 plus shipping.

Not for me. It's just helpful for the members that haven't seen that intake yet. Maybe a link to the web site or something.

I got the picture but the CAI doesn't look complete. Where does the MAF and the the 90* elbow that's on the filter mount? Also I can't see much detail because you took the picture from so far away. Why does the 90* elbow look like a dryer vent?

You place the Maf between the pipe and the 60*elbow. The parts are all Spectre. No dryer vent was used in this assembly.

Then it seems to be missing a coupling. Why are there bumps on the 90* elbow that's attached to the filter? Those bumps make it look like a dryer vent.

The elbow is part number 9768 from Spectre. It is on their web site. The missing coupler that I used was from stock system which you already have on your car. The tube, btw, is 60* not 90*. The bumps are welds.
