Aeromotive 15118 QD adapter- how to use?

I've got this adapter to come off my factory fuel line at the firewall to an AN 8 line. How does this attach? Does it just push on? Push and turn?

looks like the standard push lock (spring lock?) connection. Push in only, if so.
