Damn pas seat light keeps blinking

it thinks that there is a person and seatbelt light flashes/chimes every now and again.especially when really cold out.
problem is,I know it wont do it when I bring it in 'cause it never stays for a long time.

Well it might just need a new switch and all will be well. t just sucks when you have to mess around with the dealer.

The chime going off would annoy the heck out of me personally.

I believe there is a bulletin for an SDM reprogram for that or something like that let me see what I can find.

Ok no bulletin but I knew I saw something so I dug a little deeper and viola; new SDM calibration release

92225701 92225897 00009202 New calibration to correct false safety belt reminder chime/light activations.

Had the same issue a few weeks ago. There was a TSB out on it. Had the dealer perform the reprogram and had the ECM/TCM updated as well. No problems since. :)
