guys, I realize the DashHawk isn't 100% accurate, but is a great tool, and can't be more than a couple tenths,
and a couple mph off.

With that being said, I have done some testing the past few nights, now that the car has 1500 miles on it.

Wow.......last night, about 47* or so out...pulled a couple 4.7 0-60s. ..and a 13.17 & 13.25 1/4s.

I was letting off on the 1/4s actually before I was done.

Tonight, I went back out on way from grocery store, and pulled a 13.14@108, and a 13.02 @109.

Then 0-60 in 4.66.

The car has MY home-made CAI, the free mods, and an experienced drag driver...LOL
Fastest runs to my surprise are T/C on, sport shift mode, and flat punching it from a dead stop.

Best 60ft last night was 2.04, tonight, a 2.12.

I cannot wait for the tune........

I am definately gonna see 12s my first pass down the track, if I don't burn the 19s off of it.

Now, I just need to get my home-made X on, eliminating all resonators, and Diff bushings installed.

Planning on getting some 17 DRs with similar looking rear rims????? any thoughts on that?

please comment, and give me your thoughts.

At 80 mph in sport mode tap shifter into M3 for your fastest ETs. Shifting into 4th cost .1+

...I heard something to that effect.

So at about 80 full bore, just pull the shifter back once, and it will stay in 2nd.....

Then hit it at 6000 or so?

Does this only work with a tune.... ?

thanks....

I corrected that, tap it into M3 and ride it out. With the tune it will be right at 6200ish at the traps. Some hit the limiter crossing the line with a few more mods, but then just up the limiter to 6400 so it doesnt hit it.

This is great advise and it really works. I unfortunately found out that I need to have my limiter raised a bit since I was hitting the limiter right at the cones for the 1/4 mile marker. Maybe a bit before but I couldn't really tell.

I'm a little confused here. So you start the run in sport mode....

When the car gets to around 80, you press the shifter forward to go into 3rd? This is making it shift a little earlier than if you just left it in sport mode?

We start in Sport mode. When you get about 80, you request a downshift putting you in manual mode. Since you are at a speed where it won't downshift, it locks it in 3rd gear.

Ah, OK, I was thinking it wouldn't be a good idea to go down a gear at that speed. Thanks!

Your car will be in third gear when you are going 75-80 so when you attempt to "downshift" it will put the car into manual mode where it will hold third gear. It will not attempt to downshift since you are going too fast for second gear.

I hate you guys on the eastcoast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It must be nice sitting over there all smug, with your sea level runs. I'm wondering what the difference would be with the same car running in Colorado at altitude? .5 or more? Lucky bastards. I need LT's, tune, CAI to get into the high 12's and this guy put together his own CAI and he's running 13.0's ......... c'mon. Not fair! :bm:

BTW.... those dashawks seem to be a little too giving. Take that puppy to the track and post your #'s on the board. I'd love to see the comparision. Not calling bullshit here, but I just want to see how accurate that thing is.

I'm not too mad at you E/C guys...... We have over 300 days of sunshine a year and can golf all year round. You can't have it all!

I'm going to do a Rear Mount Turbo, feeding a ProCharger, feeding a MagnaCharger.

I figure the car will be able to open a wormhole and divide itself by zero to the other side of the planet.

East Coast RAWKS!

I live close enough to ATCO to drive down for a day, but sadly I haven't made the trip yet. That track is legendary (as, I'm sure, you've all seen).

Just remember, it's the "Right Coast" :nah:

There are a few of us talking about an "Atco Meet-up" in the spring.

I'll post something here when Atco releases their new schedule.
