SubWoofer: A Cure for Wheel Hop?

Adding the extra weight over the rear tires (50ish lbs) and then having the car aligned, I've never had wheel hop.

Just throwing this out there for those who seem to have this issue.

I had a couple of 70 lbs sand tubes in the back of my car for a few hard runs and didn't have a wheel hop issue. The only time I've felt the hop was the second day I owned it, which was before the sand tubes. Coincidence? Probably, I'd be surprised if 140 lbs would be enough to keep the tires planted, but it's a possibility.

I only get wheel hop on very cold or wet pavment.
