Has anyone else had this problem? I noticed every now and then when I try to reset my fuel mileage screen sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. I fueled up the car this am and tried to reset it again. I did the same thing I always do...press the button which has the road on it and nothing happened. Then I pressed the source button and it changed the screens to get to the fuel reset area. I pushed the enter button and it changed the radio station. I got out of that and tried entering the program again by pushing on the button with the road. Nothing happens.....CRAP!!! I push the source button again and it brings up the familiar screens to reset, push the enter button, it changes the radio station again...ugggh!!! So this time I figure fine, I will just turn the stereo off. Go through all of it all over again push the enter button and it turns the radio on. *!!!@#@# This was even after I turned the vehicle off and then back on. I even tried it after work with the same results.

Any suggestions?

That's a weird one. I've never heard of that happening.

I've seen this happen only twice typically its a failure of the microcontroller to pull down the write protect pin on the seperate eeprom where that stuff is stored to allow it to be "cleared" Dealer will replace the cluster, no worries :)

I have a dashhawk do you think it would pull up an error code for this?

Yeah I just ran the dashhawk and found out no codes. I called the dealer and have an appointment on Monday. Thanks for the insight Chris.

Ah! A fellow age challenged member? We are many, grumpy, and we grow stronger and more vigilant daily. I'm a "blue pill" guy myself. :om:
