This was a Limited Edition, entry level HSV.
E2 front with DRL, HSV fenders with vents, Brembo front brakes, LS3, Clubsport 19x8 rims all round, Holden (same as G8) rear brakes, Holden rear with Holden (very similar to G8 tails).

[With the HSV rear end and HSV tail lights being a more expensive conversion than the front fascia, it would seem like a good idea to visually replicate this car if you had a G8 and on any kind of budget].
Yes the 19x8 Clubsport rims are available to buy in 19x9.5.

To me it shows what the g8 gxp could have looked like next here in north America...

Why is this car considered entry level? I have to admit I like this back end over the others I've seen... Cleaner looking.

Those definately look like g8 gt/gxp tail lights to me..

Does it say gxp at the bottom of the front fender as well?

Because all the other cars in the HSV range have:
HSV tail lights and HSV rear fascias, AP Racing brakes on all 4 wheels, wider 9.5" rims on the rear,

while the GXP uses Holden rear fascia, rear brakes and tails, Brembo on front only, 8" wide all round.

No the fender emblem says HSV.

Would either the seats or gauges work for us, Paul? For instance, for the seats we've got the integrated airbags and all the sensors, plus the seat heaters. For the gauges, I think someone was trying to get a set working, but I seem to recall they ran into issues besides just VIN locking.

Watch out for the rather obvious differences between right hand drive Australian cars and left hand drive US spec cars.
SEATS:
Aussie seats have no heating.
Aussies sit in the right hand chair to drive, so the right front chair has all the levers and buttons on the sides, left chair is very plain with less levers and buttons in most cases.
Airbags I don't know.
MAIN INSTRUMENT CLUSTER:
It is graduated in km/h not mph
It will need to be re-programmed to your VIN
Manufacture date of the Aussie cluster will need to be close to your original Pontiac cluster.

YES.
You don't need the E2 hood if you go with E2 front fascia.....it's still mad expensive due to all the lights,trimmings, harnesses & small pieces needed on the E2 fascia.

Paul, How to those black "inserts" at the front of the hood attach, and can I get just those?

Think the moldings attach with screws.
I cannot buy any E2 parts.

You cannot fit the E2 moldings with the Pontiac upper kidney grilles.
See how the G8 upper grilles sit almost vertically below the front of the hood.
See how the E2 upper grilles sit a few inches in closer to the engine.

Sure, but it's for a project...Modifying the G8/GTS bumper. I am going to fab up my own if necessary...when I saw these, I figured it as a shortcut.

HSV GXP is like this but no leather seats, only cloth with
"Clubsport" wording.
