i am a british soldier based in germany and i own a vxr8, but i need the left hand front track control arm as mine is broken can i please have a quote so that i can way my options up.

Hi Bryan,
No problem.
Would I be correct in thinking you need the part labelled "FRONT LCA" shown in the pic below of the front left.

its actually the arm thats in the middle there inbetween the front and rear LCA the 1 that supports the wheel i thought it was the control arm but i now think its called the contractual joint

What model year is your car?

There's inner tie rods and outer tie rods.
Pic below is for a left hand drive car but it's the best I can do at 5am.
Use the pic and parts listing to tell me which parts you need.
eg: 1 x 005, 1 x 020, 1 x 017, etc
I'll work on getting the RHD pic and listing so we get the correct part numbers identified.
