I keep seeing tunes listed as cam tune.
Does that mean the tune is intended for a cam?
Because I have seen a few non cam cars with type of tune "cam tune"
please explain?
thanks...

Canned Tune or Can Tune = mail order tune. Not real accurate in the meaning, but it is what it is.

I have a CAM (Carolina Automasters) tune. Jeff is a friend of mine that I have known since the early 4th gen f-body days. I am pretty sure he only does custom dyno tunes, no mail order.

Is that the same place that let thier tech take a customers Corvette home for the weekend and he totalled it? I know someone ended up all over the internet last year for it and the name rings a bell.

Really not much to work out there.
You owe the customer a car. Time to call your insurance company and fire the dumbass who wrecked it.
