View Full Version : Vegas area G8s- Any interest in doing a group remote VIM programming?

In anticipation of the Iphone touch control that is coming out extremely soon, is there any interest in doing a group order of the remote VIM from GTPprix of the stock head unit?If so please post up.....I already have VIM on mine plus my head unit is in the spare tire area. The more the better.

it's like $125 right? if so i am also in. i believe the girl i work with is going to give me her old iphone 3g so moving closer to needing touchscreen setup.

OK, we are at 4. Remember that the more people in the group, the more we can split the cost of renting the programmer. Less money up front. We will be showing the touchscreen control at the G8 meetup during SEMA next week so maybe some more people will want to get in on this.

WAMS is a supported vendor on the other board right? can we post this over there to get more attention? maybe we can get enough people in over the weekend to get it shipped out for the meet... I don't know how much lead time he needs now

shoot just remembered even if we got more people on board to get the programmer that his website closes.

I highly doubt this could be set up by SEMA. I ordered it for myself back on September 17th and still haven't received it yet. I just got an email this Wednesday saying the status had changed to "shipped" but I never got a tracking number. Good thing I had to pay for 2nd day shipping...

5 is good enough for a group buy... probably time to look into ordering the programmer. unless there is a better option.
