Has anybody ever put a 285/35/19 on a 9" wheel?If so what happen?I know text book it needs to be 9.5 or 10" but wondering if anybody has actually done it and what to expect.

I had a 275 on a 8" rim. Hung over a hair. Not mych to worry about. I didn't have no issues. I say mount it and let her rip.

I say mount it and let her rip.I hear ya Brad....I may just do that.What was your profile on that 275?My brembo's are offical now.They are 9" and I want RTR for road but wanted to put my 245/40/19 on and my 285/35/19 on.NOW!! Should be ordering some of the essential mods in a couple weeks.

12782Damn Brad....those look sweet and come in silver too I believe.The price is much more like I like and can afford when I pull the trigger.For now I am determined to put my tires on.Tirerack says No,but I believe there are people on here and the stang sites who have.I posted on a couple stang boards but no replies yet.Thanks for the input and help you give on things man.

I think they will go one with no issues. Like said a little over hang but nothing major to worry about.
I need to get my 285's mounted. I would have went 305's but being I am mostly on DR's no reason to spend crap load on tires.

Jeff, if you do this, I'd love to see your car in person. I'm just up the road in Apex so I could meet you. I'd love to put some wider tires on too after I go through my latest set of used Potenza's!
