I have seen a total of maybe 5 G8s in my area. I can go about 2-3 months without seeing one.

I have only seen one other GXP, and it was a white one in Chino.

They are few and far between around here but I'm in Orange County and always down for a socal meetup

That should be perfect around that time.

I think we should give a pretty large heads up to everyone so that everyone can make plans and adjust schedules if needed.

And that will give me time for front tires, alignment, rear trailing arms and toe end rods, my brakes etc... Perfect lol

I live in the high desert and there is a few g8s out here and everytime I see one I get excited...lol I'm always telling my GF look babe another one of me... Anyways I just wanted to find out how many g8 owners are in the SoCal maybe even make some new friends... I love how rare the car is.
Starting early Nov. I'll be working out there in Palmdale/Lancaster. Found a place to live in Santa Clarita.

Ill be in a MGM GT... However I think my first stop is gonna be Haddad, if got the itch for a maggie

I'm in Ventura County and affiliated with the Seaside Goats, a club for G8's and GTO's. We usually do a cruise a month when not rain season.

I'm in San Diego. But I have no problem driving north for a gtg and a good canyon run. I have a Silver GXP that needs to be driven.

You are a committed one. San Diego is a 3 hour + travel time to Ventura so kudos to you. We (Seaside Goats) have our favorite cruise we do as the first one of the year when spring has little chance of rain. We may do one more cruise for the year on the 18th and you would be welcome to join us. Our meeting for planning is this Thursday so i should know what we plan to do then. Our first one is the Lake Hughes cruise so it would be quite a bit of traveling for you but it is way superior to Angeles Crest. Roads north are very good and twisty which i set mine up for from the beginning. BMR sway bars, toe links, trailing arms and tower brace. Got the Veraram, solo cats, Doug Thorley headers, catch can and VG shark fin as well as staggered wheel set up with 285's rear and 255's front on 10's and 9's. If you like the twistys, you'll quite enjoy a cruise with us. We are a G8 and GTO club but some others do tag along. Hope you can make it on one of our cruises. GL3

Thats close by relatively. Used to date a gal in Reseda off Hateras. You are welcome and encouraged to go on a cruise with us. We will likely go on one the 19th of November. We like the twistys so we may do one up the Ojai which is quite good up the 33. We will likely post and go on the cruise if it doesn't look like rain or you can PM me. Our meeting is this Thursday at 6:30 PM in Black beards parking lot. We go to dinner and talk cars and mods. Most everybody in the club does mods. My MGM is like Wicked Moms BTW if you were at the Pontiac car show in August at the Ventura harbor. I've seen 2 PSM's, 2 white hots, 3 mgm's, 2 silvers and two liquid reds i believe because my local dealer is said to have sold more G8's than any other dealer. When i went on my test drive, they had 20 of them on the lot.

You are welcome to join the Seaside Goats tomorrow evening at the Ventura Harbor for our monthly meeting. It a G8/GTO/Holden club that is free. Meet at 6:30 pm where the annual Pontiac car show is by the Greek at the Harbor grass area parking lot. We have dinner after car talk. BTW it the 2nd Thursday of every month.

Hey. I was dumbass and backed into something. I have a back up camera but didn't use it. Can't afford to pay out of pocket so insurance here I go. Valuable lesson.

I ran over a mattress. true story.

Thankfully, the mattress owner had pulled over & his insurance accepted full responsibility. It was almost 4k in damages plus 10 days of rental car. I picked an SRX for the rental :)

While it was down, I had my hood repainted & the license plate bracket holes filled. No more rock chips for this momma!

You should try to come out to Supercar Sunday this weekend!
