View Full Version : What's it take to get 11 second GXP

My ultimate goal for my GXP is long tubes, full exhaust, and a supercharger. Wondering what a GXP will do in the quarter with these mods? 11 seconds?

Definetly add tires and a clutch if a m6. Should atleast be able to run mid to low 11's I ran 12.20's in mine with just bolt ons and street tires.

Yeah I was gonna say drag radials, some BMR rear suspension parts, and a 100 shot of nitrous should damn well better get you into the 11s! LOL

several are running 12.2 with basic bolt-ons (tune, cai, headers). I'd say add a 100 shot and you are there.

Full exhaust and a supercharger will give you more then enough power to get in the 11s. Even with low boost numbers. Your only problem would be traction, you might want to invest in some track tires,BMR suspension upgrades and a clutch or stall should help out as well. I'm just a bolt on (mods in signature, add drag radials) and in good weather I'm a 11.9, maybe a high 11.8 car. A supercharger will put you really deep in the 11's.

lol me too even though I pulled a 11.92 once.. 5500 rpm launch if it hooks and doesn't bog is good for some 1.7xx 60'

Don't worry I am with you both...Every freaking time I come home I am starting over in my car though. New mods and crap...I think I get rid of it and buy a cruze. HAHAHAHAHAH




BUT my 5500-6000rpm launch's equaled 1.58-1.62 60fts. I would think a Vette was close to that. being close to same weight and all. Stupid vette gearing...

V8, wow I didnt know HID's made a car that fast haha. Looks like you've done the mods to your car that I plan to do. Looking forward to being in the 11 second club. Did you use DR's when you were at the track?

brain fart saw you used dr's. What wheel and tire combo did you use. I have a set of wheels and dr's off my WS6 trans am wonder if they would fit?

If you're talking to me, I used 17" 2005 GTO wheels and Nitto NT05R tires.
