DAMN!

That's VERRRRY visually appealing automobile!

That drop looks to be just the right height for the HSV wheels.

Nicely done!

This is just the Eibach 'pro kit' correct?

Looks great Nate. How'd you do your tail-lights?

VegasNate

Thanks, I had the tail lights spray tinted. I don't know exactly what they used but it turned out great. I was worried about visibility of the lights in the daytime but it is still easy to see.

I'm looking forward to catching up to you though in the horsepower department!!!

GRRRR8,

Horsepower is next. I'm trying to get the money together very soon to get the stage I cam package and kooks header deal from Livernois. I can't wait! Thanks for looking

I went HP first only because its what I do. Once I hit the low 11s then I want to do a lot of appearance mods. While I am doing the heads/cam I will do a lot of visual mods underhood since the motor will be out.

I went looks/stereo because I don't know alot about engines and I'm learning as much as I can as I go. I'll get there eventually!!

There is nothing wrong with that. I am not messing with the stereo. Now in my truck I plan on doing a system for my wife and no, well maybe a few, HP mods.

You're killing me Nate, car looks great. But my vision of mods is going to have my car looking like your twin. You're not planning on a Gts front end are you?

VegasNate

No, you are completley safe there. I may go with Gravana's front end when that comes out. Thanks!

I too like Nate's car. The only difference that I MIGHT do would be to paint the rims a smoked gray.

I thought of doing gloss black but from what I've seen, it makes the wheels hard to see.

I more than love your car bro. Ive been thinkin about lowering it the same. are those the eibach pro's? like 1 inch in front and .8 inches in back?

Also, how is the clearance for driveways and such?
How is the ride, the stiffness?

Holy thread bump! lol Yes, it is the Eibach Pro kit. I back my car in the garage so I have to come in at an angle to avoid scrapes which is impossible to do all the time. I am going to "upgrade" the front soon anyways. The ride is stiffer but not bad. So far so good with the rest of the suspension being stock. Not a bad mod for fairly cheap cost.

you probably thought this thread was dead, but i have a tendency to come across threads when searching and forgot to check if they are dead or not before posting. What are you going to "upgrade" to?

I'm getting the HSV GTS front and then attempting to merge it with the stock grill. I hope it turns out as good as the photoshop version. I got in on the group buy from Crazy Paul.

Looks great!! Did you retain the factory struts/shocks? If not who did you use? Your inmpressions on handling/ride/steering. Thanks

I did retain the factory struts/shocks.The ride is much stiffer but handles very well in turns and normal driving. Moderate bumps are amplified but the 20 inch wheels don't help much there. I will eventually upgrade the rest of the suspension. It looks much better too.
