Disable the subs?

do you guys know of any way to disable the factory subs? I have pulled the rear deck out and dynamat'd the whole area, but I still have a small rattle coming from the passenger rear sub. I have a 12" in the trunk so I really do not need the factory subs running. I realize I could cut the wire but I was looking for another option. thanks!

That's weird that they would permenantly wire them in. There's gotta be a nearby harness to unhook, I would think.

Are you sure the rattle isn't the XM box and whatever the heck that other box is?

I am about to go put some weatherstripping between those boxes and the metal.

Just did that, and with a rap CD, I still get the rattle. I guess I have to try dynamat.
