just got back from the track and ran into a cadillac. talked with the owner and my jaw dropped.
tomahawk ls7 with twin 68mm turbos on 19lbs making 1147rwhp.
turbos are capable of 32lbs. motor capable of 3000hp. wilson manifold. owner said motor alone was 60,000.
only issue he had was the car didnt shift. torque managemnt would not allow him to adjust enough to allow the amount of torque the car was making.
it had a 1.59 60ft and ran a 6.95 1/8th mile.

anyone else seen this done to a V? i was amazed. i now realize how slow i really am! lol

sounds nice but he must need a DRIVER MOD....... 6.95 with that setup is painfully slow.... all that power is a waste if he cant put it too the ground correctly for whatever reason.... that is more like 600rwhp speed.....

yep. he said his biggest issue was the transmission. only.way to get it to shift was to shift in manual mode.otherwise it wouldnt shift at all wot. torque managment was his issue. they were also the owners of the cadillac that ran a 9.89 at pbir not too long ago as.well.

He's going to need to invest in a much stronger trans like a 4L80 or sharpen his tuning skills if he wants to race a computer controlled automatic.

its the guys daily.driver so he did not want to change the trans. i told him the same.thing. the car was amazing. wheel spin all the way down the 1/8th mile

Was it a newer one or older one?

it was a new one with the auto tranny and mickey thompson slicks

found the car on youtube. search nelson performance. its a shop in miami who also turbos zr1s.
the ls7 block is a warhawk block. it was innitially tuned by jeremy formatto
