How wide can you go for 18" x 9.5?

I need to get some wheels ready before spring and think I've found what I want. I originally wanted to get the Gts wheels, but the price is killer. Then I started looking at 19" wheels. But the more I think about it, I don't really want to hurt my 1/4 mile times by going with bigger wheels.

I think I found a staggered set of 18's that are 8" up front and 9.5" in the rear. I'm not yet positive of the offset on the rear but on average what is the largest tire I can put out back?

Wreck just got some 18x9.5s for his DRs. Offset was 57mm and they fit fine.

9.5s should fit 275s no problem.

Thanks George, I don't think the offset will be that high. I'll have to get the exact offset if they still are making them.

According to some websites, a 57mm offset isn't supposed to work with our cars and a 9 or 9.5" wheels.
