Here's what I do when I'm not racing.

All the crappie were caught off one brush pile I built less than 300 yards from the boat ramp. Never even went to the other brush piles I built. Every trip to the brush pile produced a limit except the last trip, and we caught 46 instead of 50. We quit after that and went back to racing. We put over 600 keeper crappie in the boat in less than two weeks this last Spring. Enought fish to keep two families happy for a year.

Sam Rayburn is 110,000 acres. Prolific producer of crappie and bass. This won't even put a small dent in the fishery.

Between the spring crappie and the deer I shoot out of my winter garden I can feed my family almost all year. And much healthier than store bought meat.

I'd be happy to help you catch some. Ya'll give me a call when you are down this way and I'll try to put you on them.
