I took one of my wheels off tonight and got curious if one of the Z06 18x10.5 +56 offset wheels would fit. I put on a 1/4" spacer because it hit the control arm without one. It would probably need a 3/8" spacer to work with proper clearance because it was still way too close to the lower control arm and might rub on bumps. I obviously didn't drive the car, just backed it out and looked at it, but I love how the wheels/tire fit with this width and offset. It would need a good fender roll and probably a 10" wide wheel to work for inner clearance, but it gives me a good idea of what to look for offset wise when I start looking for wheels here soon :)

Few pictures to show how much more flush it was compared to the stock 19x8.

Looks like that 3/8" could cause problems on the outside also. You are very close to the edge of wetness. Is your rear bumper in primer?

I think its just the reflection. You can see in his first picture that its equally shiney.

Hard to see how that would work with 295's. I'm running 285 40's with a +58 offset and rub slightly on the right inner fender in hard cornering or big bumps. My tires are 27 inch diameter and have a one mil clearance on outside fender so i don't have to roll the fenders. My pics are on the thread DPE's are now on. An inch is 25.4 milimeters so a half inch wider wheel will have 6.35 milimeters on either side of where the hub is, thus i would not clear inside fender and also hit the outside, which would require rolling.

I fit 305 on my CCWs but my fenders are cut as well.

It works out to a +50 offset with the spacer. It would definitely need a good fender roll but I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'm not putting a 17/18 combo on the car so it's all good, I was just curious how they'd look on there.

I tested fitting a set of OEM C5Z wheels just like that and had no issues... weird they were only close on the inside on the plastic.
