We got very quiet. Unfortunately - and at the risk of hurting local feelings - there was a TON of politics in the PNW G8 owner's circle for some reason I'll never understand. We had one meet early on with 16 G8s and 34 people - there are some old pics around. Ben is a good guy, and ran some great events - he has a gorgeous G8 (miss you Ben, we need a beer!). A number of folks also sold their G8s for other projects.

I'm not really aware of any activity going on anymore.

Thread unstuck.

Like you, there will be new people as older G8's become affordable. Keep posting in here.

I'm still around live in Puyallup. Working on my G8 now putting in a bunch of stuff new PatG cam, oil pump, timing chain, valves springs, and so on. As was stated there was a lot of BS that went on and funny part most of them sold there G8's.

Puyallup,, I delivered yesterday in Kent. And I'm picking up today in Fife. I actually live about 3hrs south from PatG. I thought the weather would have been colder this time of year in this area, i guess i got lucky.

Sounds like a nice Cam Ben.. i'm still running my PatG 234/242 114LSA+2 cam (http://g8gt.blogspot.com/2014/02/texas-speed-418-ls3-44k-miles.html) with .629 lift as well.. actually think something like yours would be better lol.. haven't done jack to my car since I finally got it back together last year.. guess it sorta sucked the 'fun' out of it to have to redo everything XD

I see a white G8 here in Tacoma, and sometimes in the mornings a Gray one... neither seem to be 'G8' people though because they look at me like i'm crazy when honk/wave/flash lights etc ;)

Walsfan: I used to work off Meridian and park right by the chinese restaurant there.. (good?) old times lol Now I usually stay to the Tacoma area. Glad to have you on board!

What color is your g8 steve? I have been living on the south hill for 3 years or so and have only seen Bens red one and just started seeing a stock grey one right when I bought mine 3 weeks back or so...before the g8 I drove a burnt orange 04 grand prix gtp lowered wheels etc...I have been eyeing rcr and patg cams lately...don't want to deal with a stall so would prob end up with a lot smaller cam then u guys

I hear you Steve, It's sucks when you have to redo work. Right now waiting on Cam and have replaced several parts just in case as not to have anything go wrong for awhile. Car on blocks awaiting more parts to come in.

Ben

The car's running great! Other than getting the axles fixed and re-installed, and installing the SuperPro front arms last year, I haven't had to do a thing.
