View Full Version : Little Help? MAF wiring - Stock GT vs LS3/LS7 Maf Card?

I'm debating on getting an extension from Casper w/ IAT breakout, or just extending my wires to reach the MAF plug.
Either way, does anyone know the pinouts on the STOCK MAF vs. the LS7 MAF card?? I don't want to fry the sensor by just "plugging it in".
Oh, and the stock GT connector plugs right into the LS7 MAF card w/o issues - but I'm SURE there's a wiring difference???

Need about 6" extension to reach under the tube:

Of course it plugs in, but it will not work. Pinout is different. Brian Reckart knows the pinout difference and sells an adapter to mate the L76 plug to the LS7 MAF plug.

The PowrMAF has some schematics, and it looks like just the 12v and ground are flipped.
For reference, here's the stock wiring (Yellow is MAF signal, Pink is 12v, and the brown wires are IAT):

Awesome!!! Thanks Greg! Just what I had figured on the 12v and ground flip
