Thanks to Crazy Paul and a few members, Grrrr8 forum has a virtually complete G8 parts list.
Since this list is thousands of parts we have it protected, and to keep it from being copied to other sites. If you are looking for part numbers, please post them in this thread, and we'll do our best to post them for you.

Disclaimer:
Whilst every effort will be made to provide you with the correct Part Number, sometimes mistakes are made or part numbers are revised. It's ultimately your own responsibility to ensure you have the correct part number to suit your application.

Go here (http://forum.grrrr8.net/showthread.php?t=40063) if you don't want to scan the complete thread.

who cares if it's copied and posted elsewhere? info is info.

Maybe the people who spent many unpaid hours of their own time researching & compiling the data from a blank page do not wish to hand said info to ungrateful sponges who are never likely to add anything useful to the G8 community.

OEM Parts. GM #s. Its not fair for the guys that put it together for it to end up on another site. Its bad enough all my technical posts are reposted on other sites. I cant control that, but we can control this. :)

I need the part number of the vacuum line that comes out of the drivers side of the intake manifold near the Throttle Body. It has a U shape to it and goes over to the other side of the engine and connects to a sensor of some type. This vacuum line has those pesky white squeeze disconnects.

Can not seem to find a schematic that shows this line?

Crazy Paul

a sensor of some type.

= Evaporative Canister Purge Solenoid.

I'll get the Part Number for the line in the next half dozen hours for you. I know the line you speak of as I have one sitting here off a crate engine. It has no numbers marked on it though.

There is a little white plastic dome looking cover that is mounted on the rear of the driver side cylinder head. It is attached by those damn one way serrated posts that stick in a threaded hole. Attached to it is a vacuum hose, but on further inspection there looks to be a little filter or something that this plastic piece protects. The hose runs down the back of the engine overtop the tranny. I need the part number of that plastic piece that pushes into the head. Thanks.

That is the vent tube for the transmission that you need the fastener for and YES they are a PIA! A door panel tool works like a champ and doesnt damage them. It is like the old school door panel fasteners.

The inner D shaped piece in Micro (shiny) silver has Part Number 92175353 written on the back of it. However I'm unsure if this is sold seperately to the entire gear surround piece.

For a 2009 G8 I think you'd be looking for the flat front version of the A6 gear surround as per the pic on the left but with the Rado (or charcoal silver) outer as per the pic on the right. The pic on the right is the Calais radiused front version in Rado but that is of no use to you.
In Australia the 2009 cars did not use the Rado (or charcoal) flat front surround in the SS, SSV or any other models I can find.
You might have to hit up Greg from Pace if you need the 2009 G8 A6 entire gear surround piece part number.

Okay.

So I guess, maybe, I was checking to see if anyone had done this before. That way I would have an idea if it was even worth looking into, avoiding possibly screwing-up my interior pieces. Also, I could find out how much they would cost to purchase.

On post #16 it shows a picture of hood parts. How rubber stops are there suppose to be? While wiping down that area, they may come off and I have to put them back in. I'm not sure if I may have lost a couple as it appears there's enough spots for four of them.

On post #16 it shows a picture of hood parts. How rubber stops are there suppose to be? While wiping down that area, they may come off and I have to put them back in. I'm not sure if I may have lost a couple as it appears there's enough spots for four of them.
Thanks

OK I just went and looked at a 2010 SSV special edition with the G8 hood.
There is a row of 3 push-in bumpers at the front (Nos 1-3 below)
& a row of 4 screw-in adjustable bumpers behind (Nos 4-7 below).
The VIN number of the car was too recent to appear on the parts system.

I think the screw-in adjustables (4x) would each be Part No 90054143
The 3x fronts may be either 92161661 or 92194093 or even something else entirely. I'll need help from USA to pin the numbers down.

92161661 is the part number for the 3 non adjustable bumpers in the hood.

I got the spare wheel kit from Pace and now need the tire. Any chance on finding that? I was able to get the spare wheel off Ebay for like $43 but now just need the tire. I was thinking at one time to just get a full size that others are selling when they get new wheels but I want to eventually do that too so that's out of the equation now. The part number on the wheel is 92214938. I THINK it is a 17" wheel but I could be wrong. Just looking for the size and or part number.

How about the part number for the "new improved" gas cap? Trying to fix the recurring "check engine" light problem. I know the warranty would cover it but sometimes its worth avoiding the dealership.

GM doesn't sell the tire so you will have to get it from a tire store and the last time I price one it was over $300.00 for the just the tire for the spare wheel.

Paul might be able to get one to you but I think it would still be cheaper to just get a used full size wheel.

I need the part number for the trim piece on the center console that fits behind the console lid and above the rear air vents. It is curved black plastic with easy to break off plastic tabs.

I have it in my hand and there is NOT a part number molded into the plastic. I thought all Holden parts had part numbers in them?

can i have the part numbers that make up the spare tire kit for the GT? I'm looking at possibly ordering it from Pace, but i'd like to see how much the cost would be if i was to order all the parts through my dealer seperately or if they are even available. I know Pace gives a discount to members on this thread but i live in canada and with the exchange rate, shipping and the fact that pace ships through UPS which means broker fees for me, all of a sudden 145 US turns into 250 Canadian. i'd just like to see if all the necessary parts can be had through my dealer first, if not i'll go the Pace route. It's not uncommon to receive the wrong part in a labelled bag from GM.

GM tech docs say the Drivers Side outer front cover should be 92205791.
[See Pics Below.]
I still think 92205793 is the correct number for the Passenger Side outer front cover.

The part I received (drivers side) has 92205793 etched into the plastic.

Which does not match the Parts listing above.
So assuming the Parts Listing is wrong and has the Drivers and Passengers seats mixed up....from here on we're only guessing.
92205791 would be the next number to try.
Or you could remove the old Passenger side piece and look on the back of it for a Part Number.

Paul,

I think I need the plastic cover you see above with the power seat lever ..(drivers side)
On the diagram you provide it shows #6 with #11 clip. I'm not too sure if just the clip needs to be replaced or the whole entire cover. It "looks" like the whole clip and plastic piece on the cover broke
Not too sure ..can you tell me if just the clip can be ordered or would I be better off ordering the whole thing?

Thank you!

Don't be shocked if it's for the wrong side of the car. We've already had that happen from using this same GM N/A parts listing.
Read Post#174 onwards.
It's the only parts listing I have access to for left hand drive cars.
I rate your chances 50-50 on getting the correct part using #92207874.

Dirty air tube (Item 2) is listed as 12617139 but they've drawn it as a U shaped hose from valley to intake manifold on an L76 which isn't correct.

Hold the bus.....blue dotted is not the same as your red arrow.

Blue dotted is the PCV dirty air line ( C to D).
edit--Ignore the rubber boot ends at points C&D, the ends in the picture are an old design. Focus on where the hose comes from and goes to.

Your red arrow points to a fuel vapour line which carries fuel vapour from the fuel tank vapour canister to the EVAP solenoid valve
Red arrow = Pink dotted hose below (E to F)

one is black, the other white...both are eight pin

I am converting my non leather, power heated seat. I installed the seats, and pluged the power in and they worked (the car was already wired)
I bought a switch of ebay, but the wiring in front of the shifter is not there, so I will add it myself
Thanks to anybody that can help, I spent 45 minutes with the dealer parts guy that couldnt find it

Those OEM Part numbers above
7119-1996-30 for the black and 7119-1306 for the white are not GM part numbers, they are the numbers from the Manufacturer.
You'll probably find they are Yazaki (Aust) = Australian Arrow = AAPL
I've tried before on other connectors and AAPL don't have a retail outlet and only sell in Qty>5000 of each connector.
If you're really lucky you might find an electronics component supplier stateside by googling the part Numbers.

I'm getting ready to order the parts for the non-DOD cam swap in my G8 GT - one of the threads here has 17803305 Lifter Guide Kit as a component but that number is not recognized by the online parts order system.

Can someone verify that 17803305 is the correct number for the LS2 Lifter Guide Kit?

If not, then 12595365 is listed as LS2 Lifter Guides (4 needed) - should that be 8 needed instead?

I'm limited by time to when I can do this cam swap - I can start at 5:00 pm Friday but it needs to be up and running done by 6:00 am Monday - knowing that I have ALL the correct parts on hand before I start is critical.

Thanks for the help!

The kit is no longer available.
4 x 12595365 is correct for a full compliment of non-AFM buckets for a V8.

You have 16 lifters, at 4 lifters per bucket = 4 buckets required.
AFM style lifter bucket pictured. These have to go because AFM lifters are keyed into the buckets differently to non-AFM lifters.

Guys, there is a plastic bracket that attaches to the transmission lines that run across the bottom of the block and into the side of the trans. While the lines are running parallel to the oil pan, there is a plastic "clip" that attaches to both lines and keeps them separated.

After I did my cam swap and the front crank pulley walked a bit, the belt yanked HARD on those lines when it frayed, and I lost that clip.

Have a part number? Anyone have a line on one of these things?

Thanks!

Try this first from the owners manual:

Weatherstrips
Silicone grease on weatherstrips will
make them last longer, seal better,
and not stick or squeak. Apply
silicone grease with a clean cloth.
During very cold, damp weather
frequent application may be required.
See “Fluids and Lubricants” in the
Index of the “Maintenance and
Warranty and Owner assistance
Information” manual.

I plan to order a rear GXP diffuser (GM 92213320). Do I need any other parts to do the conversion? The parts dept at a dealship told me that the diffuser does not include the clips or the reflectors. But, I asume I can use my existing reflectors form my GT diffuser. Can I use the clips from the GT diffuser? I looked at the condition of my diffuser yesterday and found that I have a cracked plastic piece just underneath the diffuser that connects to the trunk base. The trunk base has the outline of a sparse tire. The broken piece connects to the trunk base with three screws. It is not visible from behind the car (only from underneath) and it is mostly covered by the diffuser except where it connects to the trunk base. Does anyone have the GM part number? It is cracked at three points (at all three connections to the trunk base). It is definitely separate from the diffuser. I think it would be smart to replace this piece while I am upgrading the exhaust and diffuser. Any help with the GM part number would be greatly appreciated.

No additional parrts have to be ordered for the GXP diffuser swap. You reuse your stock reflectors and plastic push pins, and the clips are part of the mold so I'm not sure why they told you that. Some have had to trim and some haven't. Mainly has been depending of how early the build date on your car was. Although, I was a part of purchasing in the first batch from Aus, and I didn't have to trim so it may be differences in molds or bumpers. Either way you'll know almost immediate upon lining it up if you'll have to trim or not. Good luck.

It might be Bracket 92158384. The GM drawing is diabolical, it doesn't show it very well at all.
Should be less than $10 if you can find stock.

I see the piece you mean here, it has 3 holes at the front and 4 holes at the rear.
