Hi guys, I'm in need of a new front bumper fascia and have been given 3 different part numbers. First I was told the front bumper part number for my 08 G8 GT was:

92201764 - this points to a very expensive ($600+), very rare part.

Then I was given part number:

92201764 - can't find any info on this one.

Lastly I see part number:

92250666 - which is listed at most online parts stores as being either a front or rear fascia (which one is it!), although it is definitely more reasonably priced @ ~$200.

Can anyone tell me what part number I should be using?

Thanks in advance, it is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for straightening that out Greg!
On that note I see GM fixed the priceing issues.
The GT fascia is now about $230 and the GXP is $640.00
When the GXP first come out it was just the reverse.

It's not showing a breakdown of parts for the inner CV on what I have here right now. It does look like there's a 1st and a 2nd design shaft.....so if you want me to look into it further on Monday I'll need your VIN. PM it to me if you want.

The smallest piece they show containing the circlip is Item 2.
You might have to measure it up and get one from a bearing supplier.

There's a couple of parts dealer websites I've found that I use most of the time for finding part numbers. Nalley GMC (http://parts.nalleygmc.com/productSearch.aspx?&ukey_make=1030&ukey_model=14640&modelYear=2009&ukey_trimlevel=0&ukey_driveline=0&ukey_modelRange=0&ukey_category=0&isOnSale=0&searchTerm=) and Tonkin Online Parts (http://www.tonkinonlineparts.com/productSearch.aspx?&ukey_make=1092&ukey_model=15776&modelYear=2009&ukey_category=0&ukey_driveline=0&ukey_trimlevel=19260&ukey_modelRange=0&isOnSale=0&searchTerm=). I find them easier to locate parts with than the gmoem site. Then once I find the number I order from Pace.

Depends on the year and model of your car. There's at least 3 different bezels in North America and at least 20 in Australia to choose from.

Holden still quote & use Part No 11094255.

Nally & others have missed the inclusion of the MYC (6 speed auto) tailshaft in the 2008-2009 G8 section available for viewing online.
It's all very messy but to me it looks like they are suggesting to use GM# 90538867
The very basic specs of 90538867 (M12 HEX SELF LOCKING), match the size and shape at least of 11094255....and they both can serve in the same application on an MYC front coupling.

Ugghhhh, that's what I was afraid of, needing an entire new harness. Thank you for your help though, I really appreciate it. I've been emailing electronics hobby stores (and Molex) all night trying to find out which of the hundreds of thousands of Molex products this thing is, we'll see what happens. This is what the service manual says for that connector:

Connector Part Information
OEM: 1012404
Service: See Catalog
Description: 2-Way Bulb Socket (WH)

Googling that OEM part number didn't turn up much but if you're emailing people maybe they have access to a database that might turn up better results.

Wow, that actually gave me a lot to go off of, thank you.

Googling "molex 2-Way Bulb Socket (WH)" got me to their Automotive section and to the bulb sockets. This is a "PT" (push-turn) socket, I just don't know if it's single or double filament and of those two types, which specific socket I'm looking for:
http://www.molex.com/molex/products/family?key=bulb_sockets&channel=products&chanName=family&pageTitle=Introduction#overview

But this is VERY helpful, hopefully it keeps me from buying the entire harness.

I found out it is Molex model 35533-0206:
http://www.molex.com/molex/products/datasheet.jsp?part=active/0355330206_OTHER_SOCKETS.xml

The only issue is that Molex, being Molex, only sells to larger sellers who have to custom order these parts that have massive lead times, about 2 months. Paul, I was able to find a reasonably-priced (with shipping) BA15SGH. This appears to be an Australian or European-specific item code. Is there an American counterpart? Thanks again.

I am looking for the part numbers for the plastic hood vents and retaining clips. I need both left and right hand parts. I looked on Nalley GMC's locator but could not find them.

I hate winter -- they got torn off the car by a huge sheet of ice that flew off the top of a Suburban. Hit the front of my car at 70 mph. Fortunately there was no other damage.

I'm pretty sure these are much cheaper supplied out of Australia.....if you can wait about 10 days for them to arrive by air.

Edit.
Plenty in stock for me locally at the moment and the price is still significantly lower than in USA. I can upgrade the shipping to a UPS 5 day service to you & still save you US$120 or more on a pair Vs the cheapest price I found for a new set from GM online vendors.

I believe I need part 13 in the picture and not 16. I'm looking for the copper washer that sandwiches the banjo fitting attached to the steering gear on the passenger (right) side of the car. The pic makes it seem like both the pressure and return lines connect in this area, but in reality the return line connects on the opposite side of the car (I swapped the return line in December).

Ok thanks! That has to be the one. I'm not taking the whole line off, just removing the lower end and swapping the washer. It appears I have a leak there and my only guess is that someone removed the line at some point and didn't replace the washer or let dirt get sandwiched in between the surfaces.

The straight upper door moldings, you cannot buy individual clips for....it doesn't matter if your straight strips are "chrome" or black....no clips are available. New straight strips do contain all the clips you need & are much cheaper from AU even with Airfreight included.
The long curved gutter strips, chrome and black both use the same clips.
For each long curved gutter strip, starting from the front....there are 7 white clips 92207444, one green datum clip 92207443, 3 yellow clips 92207442.
Again AU is much cheaper for these clips and they can be bought in any Qty you like....no fixed bag Qty.

Unless GM got the parts catalog fixed or supplier. The low beam cap that goes with 92193037 won't fit because it is a different style. The dealer ordered them twice and both times they were wrong but the part number showed right. I had to order the high beam cap to fit the low beam lights.

Okay so :
PT2390
19168034

seems to be the female end of the connector I am looking for. I am looking for the male end as well. I DON'T have a fog light to look at to compare.

Upon further investigation it seems there is NOT a male end. It seems that this connector plugs directly into the back of the socket.

Can anyone confirm this?

Yep! That's what I figured. I ordered some waterproof connectors. I'll build my own connection for these lights then.

I have the harness. I have custom fogs to wire in. I just didn't know if there was a 2 piece connector

May I have the part number for the outside door trim. What I mean is the seal on the outside bottom of each window that is attached to the door trim. It appears the seal is more of a rubber deflector and doesn't actually contact the window itself. Thank you!
