After the recent issues I've had with GM service in my area, and being down my prized possession for weeks, I've decided that I might put my car up for sale once I get it back. I might get something I can drive all year round, I am looking at an A4, Evo, STI, or a S330 4matic...I will lose power with these but oh well.

I am just curious what my car is worth. It's a liquid red metallic with black/red interior, and a moon roof. I beleive its the premium package. Stock 18''s. I am the second owner, first owner was a guy that couldn't afford the payments and actually worked at a GM dealer. I bought it with 7k on the clock in June 2009.

I know mods do not really add much value to the vehicle, but it has to help to some extent. I'm not talking about adding 15k to the price of the car, but ive seen locally people selling a 5000.00 car with 10000.00 in mods for 15000. I understand thats not how it works.

Rating- Mechanically when I get it back, should be 10/10
Interior - 9.9 out of 10, there is a small mark on the top of the dash, might be covered under bumper to bumper
Visual - Bumper might need a respray, one small ding that I need to get fixed above the rear wheel well, normal rockchips on hood, nothing that bad.

Interior-
Holden red/black shifter
GM Sport petals
Oznium red accent LEDs under the dash (looks sick)
GM Floormats
CDT component 6.5''s - rear
Kicker Coaxial 6.5''s - rear

Exterior -

Evolution auto designs bumper
Black grills (upper)
Black hood scoops
Black Sharkfin
Spencers HIDs 6000k low + fog
Maverickman CF Spoiler
Flip custom tinted two tone tails
V8 6.0 Badges on front fenders
GXP Diffuser
Rotofab CF Radiator Cover
Rotofab CF Plenum Cover
Rotofab Painted engine covers
Crazy Paul billet caps
Carid Underhood stainless liner

Suspension-
Pedders drop springs
SS Brembo fronts from 2010 SS Camaro
BMR Strut Bar
Forgestar F05 19x8.5 front (245 tire) 19x10 rear (275 tire) with BFG KDW Geforce 2

Performance-

Rotofab CF intake
Pacesetter Catless headers
Magnaflow 2.5'' Catback with Flowmaster super 44's + SLP wedge tips
VMS Tune (Non-AFM Now)

If I was to sell this car, what do you guys think would be a great asking price. I know I will not get the mods, but I've seen cars like mine, stock with around the similar miles, go for 24-25k

Nice looking car, real nice looking. I would think 24K is torally reasonable if you sell it yourself. If you are going to jump ship, do it, and don't look back. Good Luck. BTW, there has not been one used G8 in the greater New Orleans area for sale (Past 10 months). None advertised anywhere, so I can't say I have not been tempted.

I think that's a bit much, I paid 30 for mine brand new after ttl.

that is what a GXP M6 is going for.
not to take anything away from your car because it is very nice and clean. it is only worth what someone is willing to pay. The down side of modding is selling, you will never get back what you put in.Good luck on the sale if you go thru with it. I would love to have it but it is just not possible :(

I love the pictures, I don't think you would have any problems selling it.

I would rather pay 28 for his than have a new one. The base car should be worth close to 23-25 plus all those mods and the car looking the way it does i'd say an extra 5k is a pretty good deal. car is way better than new!

Like stated above gxp's are going fir that much. I'm not taking anything away from his car, it's really nice, but you have to be realistic about the actual value of the car. There was a guy recently selling his cammed gt on here for around 18.

I feel you will sell it quick. Its real clean so that will help a lot.

Like others stated its only worth what someone will be willing to pay. I feel you might see 25-26k w/ mods

Maybe sell some of your bolt on mods for some extra coin and sell it for 24-26k
I will be your first customer..;)

Man it must vary all over .......I will tell you this.I am in the center of N.C. and It's pretty common to see a 2009 or 2009.5 at dealers for $29,999.00From here to the coast.I am speaking of cars I have stopped to look at.They are the sports/premium package and loaded out.Usually low miles or under 30,000 miles.Of course you know they will move some.I was offered $27,500.00 for mine just a month ago.The resale is pretty good in some areas.I think you will have no problem getting a good amount in my opinion

thank you all for the feedback. I doubt I am going to part it out. I might put a classified out there, a craigslist add, a car for sale ad on here, ebay, etc..and if it sells, it sells.

I really dont think that 28k is outrageous, considering the parts added, including all OEM parts.
