G8 does a ricer flyby

Ok...Who owns a newly purchased grey G8 with oval exhaust?

So there are no new G8s and this one had paper plates, I'm guessing fresh off the used lot with some mods. It had oval exhaust tips so I'm not sure which one it was. (Not pypes it didn't seem that big) Well I saw it in the rear view as I made the u-turn from my local HEB, I was using it as it's God given purpose as a grocery getter, and as I'm trying to get on the freeway he comes flying by. Not much noise so I'm guessing the cats and maybe manifold might still be on it.

Anyway, I'm always on the look out for grey G8s and this one was debadged except for the pontiac arrowhead.

G8s don't do ricer flybys, here endeth the lesson.

Could it have been a V6?

No it sounded good enough to be a V8 but I dunno. I'd have to get a look at the wheels but the oval exhaust tips stick in my head as it's what I got a decent look at. The tips were rounded or fat at the edge like Dan's not slim or tapered like Fidel's Pypes. So it might be whatever Dan has, nevertheless I'm going to make it a point to keep an eye out.

What did the taillights look like?

I don't recall, I heard the exhaust so I looked at it. He then disappeared behind vehicles so I couldn't see him anymore. If he was a v6 then it'd be the first I heard with a rumbling exhaust note.
