View Full Version : Pondering EL Wire - Recommendations?

One of the Oznium LED strips (see my signature pic below; they're the blue highlights under my headlights) is going out in my car again, so I unplugged them and the look without was nice and simple. I liked it.

But I'm not willing to give up on the lighted highlights just yet.

The multi-point LED look is kinda...eh. I want more of a continuous light-pipe look to unify the highlight under my headlight with the blue glow of my V-LED switchbacks. An EL (electroluminescent) wire promises to fulfill this need, since I can tape or otherwise attach it in place under the headlight as needed. It doesn't need to be bright, either.

Opinions? Recommendations on where to get this stuff?

That EL wire looks perfect. The wife has always been pissed the Camaro lighting in the doors (blue) does not extend into the dash of the car. Now it can. Great find

I ran across these guys in my search, too. No idea how good they are or aren't? Maybe I can check resellerratings.com...
