I just took delivery of my 09 with performance package. It has the 19" summer wheel / tire set up. Living in the snow belt, I'm not prepared. I have a set of Acura RL wheels that are 5x120, however the offset is 55. Any technical thoughts on this?

Also, the car only has 120 miles on it. What is the standard break in period and procedure? I don't have the manual yet and have to pick it up from the dealer.

Thank you.

They likely won't work as the rim will rub on the front strut tower brace. I tested my GTO stock wheels 17 x 8 w/ 48 offset. and the only way they would fit was with a spacer. No issues with 48 offset on back, so likely your wheels would fit the rear. With 18's or 19's the rim clears the brace.

For a 17" wheel to work, it needs to be around a 40 offset on front. Or... you can get a spacer to move wheel out.

THank you for the reply, that's what I was afraid of. Oh well, in search of wheels and some winter tires!
