Does anybody here have any experience good or bad with Poly Planar stereo and speakers ?
http://www.polyplanar.com/

They're self promoted as "poly-planar is the world's best known designer and manufacturer of waterproof and corrosion proof audio systems and outdoor speakers for marine, outdoor, deck, pool, patio, and boating applications."

I need to replace the current [Aquatronics-Audiovox junk] AM/FM/CD head unit in the outdoor hot tub as well as the speakers.
Because of the cut-outs and location of the existing speakers I'm limited to 5" round speakers.

I'm looking at getting
1x MRD-60 http://www.polyplanar.com/productSingle.aspx?prt=MRD-60
2x MA-4055W (pair) http://www.polyplanar.com/productSingle.aspx?prt=MA-4055

I've had them on boats before, no issues.

had a jet induction yamaha 19' with twin yamaha 275s, and if you took a turn in it you could almost dip the side into the water, always had water splashing in it all the time...had a set of their speakers in it hooked to a kenwood head unit in a waterproof glove box...speakers never failed.

man that was a fun boat...you could just ride a wave up onto the beach like you were in a jet ski and then push it back into the water.
