The literature shows 2 optional upgrades:

1- D-1SC (standard is P-1SC)
2- Intercooler upgrade (req slight mod)

Anyone know anything about these? I know the D-1SC is a different snail. It has higher maximums but likely the P-1SC is as much as I'll ever need. Any real reason to go with the D-1SC? Cost is not hatefully more so if there's a good reason I could probably do it.

I'm guessing the intercooler upgrade is a bigger intercooler. Can anyone confirm? Anyone know what "slight" mod is required?

Go with a D series that way if you ever want more its just a pulley change. I would get the bigger intercooler since your in the south. Not sure about the mod, I have only installed on Mustangs/Fbodys and trucks.

Is the P series not adjustable by pulley change too?

if your talking about impellor speed they arre both 62k rmp but the d series can flow a a larger volume of air by (200cfm) and has higher boost psi by (2psi)

I don't know a lot about these.

Is that a big difference? Because it doesn't seem like it.

neither do i, its just what i read off the chart, and it doesn't seem like that much of a difference to me eithier. i doubt anyone will max it out at 32psi without some serious work to everything, so a p series should be fine

The D1sc is capable of about 200+rwhp over a P1sc in real world applications. It is a bad dude, and is easily as streetable as the p1sc...

Just do the D1 if you are going to do the procharger and don't look back :D
