We are on our fifth warranty replacement for the driver seat surround. Anyone else have this problem?

Do what they told me on the driver side, wear spots from the seat belt. Use a black permenet marker.

What's the estimated cost of the repair? I have a used car warranty, with a $200 (CAN) deductible. I will bring it in if it's going to be more than $200...

The part is around $50 if I recall. I replace them in a lot of GM trucks for the same reason. It seems if you slide out of the seat a certain way they break.

Has anybody on here tried the Caprice side seat cover part number 92252188 to fix the seat? Looks like there is also a new lower seat cushion to help not break the trim piece. I was wondering from a cost stand point if the Caprice part and a new trim piece would help. Here's a link I found talking about repair.
