G8 Foot Well Lighting Made Easy?

I found foot well lighting for a Caddy CTS, Front P/N 19170639, Rear P/N 19170640, a direct plug in for a CTS. Looks like a great possibility for a G8. Pricing is $34.22 on gmpartsdirect. Shipping would vary, depending on your location. Pictures may be found on partszoneonline, go to gm accessories>cadillac>cts sport sedan>electronics>ambient lighting.

Total cost just for the footwell lighting would be about $5 for the lights, fuse and holder, and wire tap with about 2.5 feet of 22 gauge wire.
