Now that we have a NEW CTS-V owner ( Sephiroth), I think it is time to add that car on top and add a section for that car on here.
Any thoughts?

Right? Inquiring minds would like to know. At least a hint, lol.
truth be told, I def respect the fact of not wanting to blast a specific shop.

I think we should have a section. I might get one soon. See how college education works out

If there is a section for a completely unrelated car (Mustang), than a similar car (CTS-V) should have one. If some fugly Ford can get a section, I think a car that can make it eat it's lunch would be even more deserving.

That would be cool. Dont know if many CTS V owners would cruise by but worth a shot IMO.

Throw the Ford over board to make room for the Caddy CTS-V.
The Ford folks are going to want to get me now, lol

I love the CTS-V..... had one for a long weekend to chicago.... but personally I would rather have this forum stick to G8's.... there are tons of other boards for mustangs, CTS's, challengers, chargers, etc.... where do you stop?.... I personally dislike it when I am looking thru new posts and have to wade thru mustang or posts..... if I wanted to go to a CTSV forum I would find one....
No disrespect to anyone for sure cause some of the main guys that supported this forum for so long and still do many own mustangs now.... but spreading to handle more different cars sometimes dilutes the main reason why "most" of us are on here....
Hate to be the only guy to say.... rather not... but I would bet a "couple" others agree with me... but want to be the "nice" guy.... obviously just my personal opinoin......

I've looked.. there really isn't one. Cadillacowners forum and LS1tech have a section. Not that it really needs one, but a deticated one simply doesn't exist, unless you're talking about vseries.net, but it's barren.

I don't think anyone here is serisouly considering this. 1 -2 owners do not need a new section.

Ray you always make me laugh.
I personally don't care what sections are on here. But there was reason a mustang section was started. Some hated the idea some liked it. It happens. But not our call in the end. I kinda agree with GR8LOVER i hate looking threw mustang threads...LOL

I was against the Mustang as well. I just hate change. The Mustang/G8 bashing has dropped quite a bit.

I am in favor of a V section. Some of you know I worked for Cadillac, but left a few months ago to manage another dealership. I still talk with my Cadillac dealer all the time, and they keep making me offers to come back. Recently they offered me a V wagon in stick for basically the summer!

How about a CTS section for both plain CTS and V models, more inclusive. Just sayin'

A 70K 6.2L supercharged car vs. a 30K naturally aspirated 5.0. Hmmmmmm........ I bet you a 70k GT500 will eat the Caddy all day long.
Back on track I am all for a CTSV section. :)

I think a CTS-V section would be awesome. I have been considering the V wagon recently. I think it would make a great sleeper.
Large bulbous hood
19" wheels
Large colored brake calipers with "Brembo" written on them
Giant dual exhaust port in the center rear
Cadillac emblem with big V-flag near by
sleeper?

Only if the mustang can get the back wheels to hook up.

Except the Caddy actually has an interior. Hence the price. A GT 500 is what, 50K new? You can get a Caddy for mid to low 60s new. The 10K difference is all in the interior, and it sure as shit shows.
I think if you do a CTS-V section, it would only be you and Toke competing. The Caddy boards blow.

no kidding, it's freaking cutthroat in there and even the mods are asshats. The crappy part is I still need to lurk around so I can learn all the small details I can.
they're all ranting about how a 3.0L engine in a CTS-V would be .. and I quote 'caca'
except that they're forgetting about the N54, Ecoboost, and TFSI 3.0L supercharged V6 that all make 300whp stock and 360whp with a tune
I suppose they wouldn't forget though, because they don't know about them in the first place.

It was tempting, but ultimately would be a step backwards for my career. They did offer to throw in a custom parking spot with my name on it at the dealership too!

I have an excellent work ethic and a great understanding of the business. Good people in dealerships are usually rare to find. IMO I just get up and do my job, and try to learn as much as I can each day I'm there. I was finding myself not learning anything new at Caddy, part of what motivated me to make the move. When I stopped in there a few weeks ago I was admiring the Diamond edition V, that paint has some sparkle to it! Congrats on your purchase BTW!

Thanks! it's definitally a bi-polar paint, it hides swirls great, and looks like regular metalic black most of the time, unless the light catches it 'just right'

Sweet ride Andy.
