First, mad props to Crazy Paul for locating these for the community. I had promised Paul pictures but the weather has just not cooperated. The engine bay is still kind of dirty but here are pics of the billet aluminum caps that Crazy Paul sells. The quality is excellent, they are super light weight and easy to install. I have the complete set for the automatic transmission equipped G8. I've installed these with the Roto-Fab radiator cover and the Volant CAI. I'll provide information below on how I got this all to work.

* Oil filler cap
* Power steering cap
* Master brake cylinder cap
* Strut tower caps (sold in a pair)
* Low pressure radiator cap
* High pressure radiator cap
* Windshield washer fluid cap

Crazy Paul also overs a cap for the Clutch fluid, which I don't have in the photos (don't have one).

The Power steering billet aluminum cap. This fits right over the existing cap. It can just slide on but I used some 3M double side exterior trim tape to secure it in place.

This is looking down the passenger side of the engine bay. You can see the Roto-Fab CAI in the front of the image. There are three caps in this picture. The Radiator cap, the Oil Filler cap and the passenger side Strut Tower cap. The Radiator cap on the passenger side of the Roto-Fab CAI will not fit without modification. I was going to cut it larger but decided not to. I put it on at car shows and then remove. Modification with a hole saw would be easy. Additionally if you wanted to cover up the cut you can use a replacement kitchen sink stopper found at Home Depot for about $3 for the PERFECT grommet. I mean scary, made for the project, perfect. The Oil Filler cover is a direct replacement. You just need to remove the rubber o-ring off of the stock one and replace it on the new one. It just screws into place. The Strut Tower cap simply slides right on and has a tight fit. I opted not to do any additional installation for it. It appears that the BMR strut tower brace would work fine with these caps.

This is a picture of the driver side half of the engine bay. This shows five of the Crazy Paul billet aluminum caps. There is the Radiator cap and the Windshield Washer Fluid cap, in front, with the Roto-Fab cover and Volant CAI in the foreground. On the engine cover is the Power Steering cap, pictured earlier, and then toward the rear is the Master Brake Cylinder cap and the driver side Strut Tower cap. The Radiator cap fits perfectly even with the Roto-Fab cover! Goes right in. Given the perfect fit with just a whisker of tolerance, I did not do any additional work to secure the cap. The Windshield Washer cap fits, even with the tight tolerance created by the Volant CAI. I used some 3M exterior trim double sided tape to secure it in place. The Master Brake Cylinder cap toward the rear is also secured with the 3M exterior trim double sided tape. Like on the passenger side the Strut Tower cap fits very snugly and appears to allow for tolerance for the BMR strut brace.

Here is a close up of the driver side Radiator cap and Windshield Water Fluid cap with the Roto-Fab radiator cover and Volant CAI. Ya I know, the Windshield Washer Fluid cap is dirty - the weather here has sucked for almost two months. As you can see the Radiator cap fits PERFECTLY into the unmodified Roto-Fab radiator cover with room to spare. Additionally you can see there is no room left, but the cover does fit for the Washer Fluid next to the Roto-Fab. It can be open and closed without issue for filling.

Here is a close up of the Oil Filler cap. Again, apologies for the dirty engine bay. White, polished aluminum and mirror finished 304 stainless is damn hard to keep clean!

Here is a close up of the passenger side Radiator cap. As you can see there is just a hair too little room in the stock cut for the cap to fit. Not an issue for me - there are work arounds.

Again - HUGE thank to Crazy Paul for finding these for the G8 community. They are beautiful and love them. Super easy to install and great quality. I would recommend using some double sided tape to make sure 100% that a couple of them are secured in place.

I don't see why not. They are pretty darn shinny out of the gate to begin with.

That's a huge complement coming from you. Thanks. I'm redoing the engine cover so that it will be white and black (very similar to yours) and have the 304 stainless polished in the middle section. Your engine bay is absolutely amazing.

Many thanks for posting the high quality pics, best of luck for the Car Show. I'm sure you'll win a trophy....you deserve it !!!!!
Not just a cap for the manual transmission guys, a complete new billet reservoir, all you re-use is your original threaded plastic cap...which then gets a new billet cap slipped over it. I even throw in new stainless steel washers and stainless metric dome nuts to mount it.
3M double sided tape or RTV sealant/adhesive is a definate for the Power Steering Cap and a maybe on a few of the other caps as well.
