I like rake.. it's boss!

does Pedders make a spring combo, such as what I use in my GTO, sweet Maybellene, which is 5/16 inch raised rear and 1 inch front drops?

I believe you can get it very similiar to that. Check Wretched Motorsports site or SNL Performance. They should have all the answers for you.

the GTO was cutting 2.1 60fts...

after installing the Pedders Springs/struts and bushings the car cut a 1.86 on street tires... not bad, but the car is a automatic...

Thats awesome. Now maybe its time for a small converter.

it would have to be turbo friendly....

the car ran strong for a stock tranny and stock stall... and it ran at 6500ft so my time was somewhat handicapped by that altitude...

The rear of a G8 sits way too high. I had it lowered a little more than the front.

So, what's the SRT4 down to in the 1/4 these days?

if you recall, back in 2004 the SRT made 470hp which was 3rd highest in the Country then and had the 3rd best trap in the Country at 125mph..

Since then the engine has been rebuilt with a new forged engine and racing head, and a GT35R turbo fed with 96lb injectors, the car has also been lightened. Due to a significant investment the car hasn't been ran with the new build, as I didn't want to see a failure, not that I would, but at its new power levels that is always a concern. The car makes 636hp/597tq as seen in this dyno plot:

The car weighs in at 2600lb's roughly... It would destroy what it used to be...

for example, my Twin Turbo 571hp GTO ran this time earlier this season:

and the red SRT when in high boost and C16 simply routs this car up top.
It will take a forged/stroked LS2 and atleast 12+lbs of boost to run with the SRT I think, right now the GTO is at a mere 6lbs on the stock LS2, yet ran a strong time at 6500ft...

when I get a G8, either the GT or GXP, we'll explore its power and potiential, and make some big power, with some big boost... Those that know me, know I am not the type to install a CIA and or headers and be happy, rather I like mods that make significant power...

here is a video of a quick street race, my GTO vs. my 2008 Caliber SRT-4.
The Caliber traps 103mph, which some may say that isn't impressive, but consider it does this well above a mile up in altitude, where many of you would lose 5-6mph on your trap up here...

Could be, but you're still up there and I'm down here at sea level, so my mph is higher. Too bad.

very true sir, I am up here when in New Mexico, but when I am in Nevada I am lower however the heat really kills in the summertime...during the summer the DA is often above 5000ft due to the heat, so I still don't win, as far as a lower elevation run...

at Albuquerque Raceway in New Mexico, you would lose trap speed, and my GTO's 122mph trap up here would gain some trap where you are at... My Neon SRT runs roughshod over that GTO as it is a 135+ trap speed car..

My 2008 Caliber is one of my slower cars...

I will purchase a G8 some time soon, maybe hold out for a GXP, but regardless, when I get one.. MORE RAKE FOR ME!

I want some rake on the G8 aslong as it isn't detrimental to the car..

Hopefully you Pedders hepcats have a solution for me...
