Just watch out for mother nature's car wash and the flash floods. This is some pretty crazy weather.


Oh, and I saw a red G8 on Christmas day in Geneva with temp tags. Older gentleman driving. I think it was a Christmas present to himself :)

I just went to the car wash and pressure washed it. Just a quick walk around and wheel cleaning. I think I spent $1.77 doing it. Funny thing is it was DOWN POURING when I was doing it. lol Got the crap off though.

I'm from northeast Illinois, due north of Chicago along Lake Michigan. I just picked up a red 08 GT and I also have a custom 94 Harley Low Rider. It would be cool to meet up with any other G8 owners in the Chicago area once the weather gets warmer. My previous car was Grand Prix and I met quite few owners at local meets. Here's a pic of my Harley and my G8 in my sig.

I can see IL from here, does that count? I've got a 2009.5 SRM, bought it from Jack Wolf in Belvidere. I'm 100% stock but I've ordered some goodies... Livernois stage 1 cam will be here Monday and I'll be installing it myself. I saw what I think was an MGM GT headed east on Kishwaukee Valley road a couple weeks ago but otherwise the G8s are sparse around here.

I was there for TOMRV a few months back. A good friend lives in Bettendorf. I make it down there a few times a year for a ruckus. I'll be there sometime in October for his new house warming party (building near Devil's Glen & 53rd I believe). :drunk:

TOMRV is a bicycle ride from Bettendorf to Dubuque, then back to Bettendorf the next day. Quad City Bike Club puts this ride on every June. It is a sweet ride, but is pretty hilly. It runs through Chestnut Mtn & Galena to give you an idea of the route.
