Can someone tell me how to remove the steering wheel cover, the center cover, not the wrap? I tried pull on it but it doesn't seem like it comes off that way and I really don't want to break it.

I need to replace the plastic around the controls.

Thanks!

I beleive you have to pull the air bag cover first. There are two screws that hold the silver cover down and they are inside the wheel.

Ok, first you have to pop off the top cover of the steering column. It truly pops straight up. Then turn your steering wheel 90 degrees from straight so you can see squarish hole in back. Insert wide blade screwdriver and get between a wire spring clip and casting and twist, the cover will pop slightly off the wheel. Then turn the wheel 180 degrees to see the same hole across from the other, then repeat popping. This will free the airbag and expose most of the screws you need to get the trim off....PM if confused :)
