Just saw this over on Jalopnik. If 100,000 people comment saying they want the Ute in the US, A GM executive will give it the green light.

I know of two people that would jump on this. But will it be a true Ute or something else?

I saw this the other day as well. It would need to be a LS3 with a M6 for me to think about it.I also would like to see what Chevy would do with the look. I would bet that it will not look as good as the Holden version

Agreed... I'd probably convert it back into a Pontiac!

I had thought of the same thing, lol! I only have a little over 4 years of payments left on the GXP, so I can be patient. By then my girlfriend will likely be my wife though, and she HATES El Caminos. She refers to them as the "mullet of cars." I haven't been able to convince her that they are a cool party car, because you have a bed with you whereever you go, LOL!

If they bring the wagon, I would be first in line! My wifes Infiniti would be gone in a heartbeat!

If they brought the wagon over I'd be in serious trouble... I'd have to find another parking space at my condo!

I would like to have one, if they came over. Only problem is my wife. She is the reason we have the G8 and not a Z06. "it doesnt seat everyone." "its not pratical."

I would really go with a GXP wagon, although it would have to be an auto as the wife kills clutches, trust me I tried, ain't gonna be a manual. Maybe a lotto winning and a CTS-V Wagon, that is for me right now is the best all around car made to date. Can do the kids and trip, go get plants at home depot, then humiliate 99% of any car made :)

I have been looking for a wrecked wagon, one with heavy frontal damage to buy, bring over, canabalize and ship back.
Not much luck so far.

LOL....well you see them everyday so you shouldn't be. But a LHD UTE with Michigan mfg. plates is not something seen to often in the US.
