The weather hasn't been the greatest this spring but according to the calendar, it's time to wake her up. I have a couple of things I'd like to do to her but not while she's sleeping. I did install the console lid and got away with it but the grills will have to wait till she's up moving around since I have to remove her fascia for the lower ones. (unless someone knows of another way) I also have a couple things ordered, so it's time for her to rise and shine.

the console lid looks really nice. The lower grills just pull right out. From the photos it looks like you used a wire screen?

Looks like sleeping beauty will have a nice face lift after a long sleep.

Looks like all you need to do is slide the lower grills into place and give them a ilittle push. They should latch easily. I assume you just need to install them since you have pics of them off of the car.

I bought a used set and had them sent to the guy. I also had another set of kidney grills I sent so both have to be pulled out and the new ones put in. I read where they say to pull the fascia but John won't do that. We should be able to get it without doing that. Almost got her out today. Getting closer. Lol

Thanks for the compliments.

Well, I finally got around to getting the grills in. Had to wait for the time and the sun. We are very happy with the look! I need to wash it and put the plate back on. John's doing the exhaust (Solo axle back)! New air intake will be here next week! :brock:
