When the 2009 G8 GT's came out I knew our local dealer was getting a red one before the salesmen by going to cars.com. I checked and guess what there is a GXP going to a dealer in TX. It did not specifically state GXP but the price is $40,690 and is a 6 speed maual, Metallic Silver. Additionally I believe the listing for the Panther Black Auto may be a GXP too as the cost is in the range it is in Florida. I have to call my dealer tomorrow!

It was my understanding from my dealer they weren't even able to order the first one....They had to take whatever they got. They basically said sometime after the 1st as well. Alot of them are in an Administrative Hold at the Ports as GM tries to sort out just exactly what they are going to do.

More GXP's have been added to the system. There was only 34 and now there is 49.

With red tag pricing, A 6spd manual is less then 39K loaded with GGT. Thats a pretty good price to me.

Even if the red tag event was still on they (GM) would exempt the car as it is a new model.

Still, it is good to see them finally making the showrooms. Happy hunting!
