Does anyone have pictures of OEM Camaro rims on a G8 GT with stock brakes? I just bought a set and want to know if I have to upgrade the brakes so I don't look foolish....

I know it's a matter of opinion which is why I wanted some clear pics to look through.

This is the only picture I have on this computer. I dont think it looks bad. The brembos are defiantly on my list, just not in the budget right now. They are only an inch bigger than the stock brakes.

Looks great! Thanks!

Everytime I see a picture of 'my' car I'm amazed that it's a GM. Where have they been all my life?!?!

You have to go with 245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 rears or they'll rub. The problem then is to find. A shop to install them who won't mess up the rims...30 series tires are REALLY tough to work with.

Those are the sizes I have. I called a couple tire shops and ended up at bell tire. They had no problem mounting them.

You have TPMS? I hear that it's easy to damage them, especially with so little flex on the sidewall.

Check out the WHEELS and TIRES section - lots of threads on what will fit and what won't. As far as I have been told there are rubbing issues, even at stock height, with anything in the rear larger than 275/30..

I think most of the rims available in the forums are factory - the Camaro guys, like any of us, want to personalize their rides and rims are often the first thing to go. Lucky for us they look great on our cars!!!!!!! I have heard people searching Camaro5 for deals...

I'm still debating on buying those. At least with the 19s I can rotate the tires and make em last. With these you'll be buying 2 rear pairs for each front pair. They do look damn nice though.

Anyone know how far down you can go with coil overs before rubbing becomes an issue?
