What are you folks running for daily use? Handbook says 33 psi, that's a tad lower than the GT used.

33/34psi cold, 38/39psi warm, same pressure all around.

I found my A/S tires vary more from cold to warm....my DWS will go from 33 to 39/40 on a hot day. My invos never changed more than 4 psi cold to hot.

And for happiness, 42 all around. That's actually what the car was running when I first picked it up from the dealership. I still love the responsiveness it adds to the car, though it does very likely reduce the life of the tires.

Doesn't GM call for tire pressure 36 PSI front and 39 PSI rear?

Cold, yes. Those're the factory recommended pressures. You can go out of spec to gain certain effects, though. Lower pressures allow more sidewall flex, so the tire sits wider and provides better traction, but the cost is the tire is slightly more "sloppy" because it's looser. Higher pressure increases sidewall stiffness, which reduces the contact patch and traction with it, but makes the tire more responsive to steering input. I wouldn't go below 32 or above 45, though, with whichever pressures you choose.

I get that is that OP said manual call for 33PSI.

With low tire pressure tire should not sit wider. It would sit in a W shape, that's why outside edges of tires wear off much more than center.
I would love to decrease tire pressure as I find G8 GXP;s ride to be too stiff/harsh. But I don't wanna ruin my tires with uneven wear. Eh... maybe 2 PSI lower should be ok? I dunno...

39 rear when it's fully loaded. I run 35 all around. Usually.

GXP and GT owners manuals call for different pressures. Light weight on the GXP is 33 all around.

I knew there was a reason I didn't post in here much. I'll close the door when I exit.

I think I am going to go to 38-40 pounds cold on my next set of tires since all I do is highway driving. On my Colorado I would run 42-44 pounds and I got 150,000 miles out of a set of Michelin's.
