how can you tell if you have a dead fuel pump?

so it was raining tonight like it does every other day in florida, i turn on my windsheild wiper and the rod comes off and hits the wire to my boost a pump activation switch and tangles itself up and pulls the wires out the boost activation switch and then my car just shuts off. Now whenever i try to start it , it cranks up and dies instantly any ideaS? i already wired the car back up straight minus the boost a pump and it does the same thing

Can you put a gauge on the fuel rail to check the key off engine off pressure?

i dont have acess to a guage atm but whats the pressure suppose to be 58psi?

I think so.
I also think you should be able to use and pressure gauge at the Schrader valve on the fuel rail...like a cheapy auto zone gauge or something similar.

Thanks ill try to get a guage tomorrow , i have a electric one but i didnt wire it up yet because i have no guage pod. sigh

well i checked and im getting 0 pressure which indicates that the pump is getting no power, there is a fuse and a relay but i cant find the fuse i switched the relay and the same thing is happening. does anyone know where the fuse is located?
I think its in the trunk but I unno where

yup in the trunk above the battery , towed my car for no reason dumbass gm why would you put a fuse panel there.

both and whats the number to gm roadside , so they just tow you wherever for free as long as your under 100k?>
