Finally made up my mind!

As most of you know I have been collecting parts for some time in an effort to have the ultimate combo. Well the plan has changed about 50 times in the past few months as my time is limited so I decided to get Kirk at Vector Motorsports involved in some of these decisions that I needed to make. Having the Circle D 3600 stall and 1 7/8 headers was really the decision on changing the plan. Kirk will come up with a special grind that will maximize my efforts with all the parts I have and get a set of heads ready that will work well with this combo also. Both of us expect nothing less then setting a N/A record. Naturally he will be tuning the combo and I will take care of the suspension adjustments/launch technique/driving. It will be ready before spring for some shake down runs, so you know I will keep you posted. Thanks again Kirk and Vector Motorsports for all the help and time it will take to make this possible.

Sorry for the wishy washyness, but with my limited time and this winter is when it has to get done, I knew that I was leaving a lot on the table and since it is not my DD now it was time to make it a maximum effort car. It will be full weight, a/c, cruise etc. It just will sound HECTIC! lol That will probably become the new tag also once I hear it.

Yeah, I agree. While my ultimate goal is a KB supercharger, I love a mean ass N/A car.

Charlie, how much is driveability an issue for you? You have a truck too so you don't "have to" drive the G8 right?

I will drive and test just as I did before I got the truck so everyone will know. I can tell you that this is for maximum effort so my mileage will not be great, but it will NOT be horrible either. I would rather sacrifice a few mpgs for a few tenths.

What he said. At cruising speed it's no different than the stock converter but when you mash the peddle on the right, you'll notice a hell of a difference.

Im interested in seeing the final turnout as well. I have a friend with a LS2 GTO, L92 heads, mid-lift cam and he is putting 460/450 at the wheels, Then spraying a 150shot, he is at 600/660 at the wheels. Feels reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel good on the bottle & sticky tires
