Who else has received a Pontiac complimentary maintenance card in the mail recently? I just got one today. It is good for " a full year of preventative maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations and 27-point vehicle inspections". There are spaces on the card for 4 service visits and mine expires March 31, 2012. Nice.

I got one last year. Used it twice at two different dealerships, both of them seemed, "less than pleased."

I used two of mine (expires 3/31/2011. One oil change I also got the bonus of a scraped up front end and rash on one of my rims from their rack/lift. (wasn't worth the 50 bucks I saved)

I got one on Saturday. I used the one they sent me last year 3 times and heard the service writer tell the service tech to make sure he put the extension ramps down, he didn't want to pay for another G8 front end.

I got 2 Certificates last year - 1 for the G8 and 1 for my wife's Torrent. Used twice for the G8 including Mobil 1 and 3 times for the Torrent so far. I just received 2 new Maintenance Cards today - 1 for each vehicle again. Both good until 3/31/2012. No complaints using these and the dealer has treated me great every time.

I will have to check the mail. I had no problem using last years at the 2 dealerships that serviced my car last year.

Got one last year, haven't gotten one for this year. Used it one time last year and needed to have two panels repainted from the damage they caused so even if I get one this year I won't be using it.

You're not missing much. First time I used it they over filled the crank with oil; discovered on the race track when the car started belching huge clouds of blue smoke and I got black flagged. Hopefully long term seals aren't destroyed or my cats don't melt into a solid block.

Second time I used it stored my G8 for the winter, rolled it out after about a month to drive for a few minutes and found a puddle of oil on the floor. Concerned I had either the rear seal issue or some other seal blown from the first over fill problem several months earlier. Nope - damn oil filter wasn't tightened. Oil change was done at the same time because I asked, and they never reset the oil life monitor as part of the process - thanks guys.

No more dealer oil changes for me; free turned out to be very costly in both cases for my time, and greatly diminished my day at the track. I shudder to think how bad it would have been if I didn't have a catch can in place to grab up the oil slopping around - it was filled to the top within 10 minutes of driving on the track and well beyond. Worse is that both of these incidents are now documented in the vehicle's Car Fax history report because it was dealer service - yay! Dealer Service - customer says oil overfilled ---- Dealer Sevice - customer states oil leak

Got mine yesterday and it went right into the trash. Not letting they touch my car unless absolutely necessary.

I used the six I had for 2010 at my dealer, same guy worked on her each time. He wanted to do the work, I think he took pride in working on a decent car and he knows his shit too, takes care of me everytime I'm in there. Real delicate touch and very meticulous. No problems here, guess that's not the usual, Eh? A couple 8-balls will pretty much get you anything...
