Looking for some help. My nephew wants my 18" G8 GT rims for his 94' T/A.
I know the bolt pattern is slightly different and the center bore is smaller on the G8's.
Anybody know what the center bore is for the f-body?
If you milled out the center bore is the offset ok?
Any major concerns on bolt pattern, think the f-body is 5x120.65?
Yes I know I have a 96' WS6 in my sig, always been satisfied with the factory rims (after they were chromed) and away back then they didnt have forums, know I could join one of the ls1's and get info but car is and always was a garage queen.

1) don't know
2) Drilling out the center wont change the offset
3) Some used WS6 rims on the G8, so I don't think it would matter much
Bonus if this has helped any

Found a site that says it 57.1 and the G8's are 67.1 so you might want to get a centering ring.
Drilling out the wheel is not needed in this case.

I should have clarified the offset concern, didnt mean it in direct correlation to milling out center bore.
I'm not sure what offset's fit the 4th gen f-body.
From what Ive seen the g8 center bore is 67.1, it's a smaller diameter than the f-body has.

FYI G8 center bore is 66.9, 67.0 and 67.1 are good for hub rings.

I'm positive the F-BODY has a larger center bore, tried mounting them 2 weeks ago and wont clear center hub. Thought that was the end of it but my brother wants to make them fit (he drives it more than his son) trying to make sure b4 he f's up a set of rims.

We show hub diameter of 70.7mm on last generation Firebird/TA. The offsets are in the ballpark (40 to 45mm), but without redrilling the centerbore you won't get anywhere

Thanks! What are your thought's on redrilling center bore? Family friend owns machine shop and told him it was no problem, done it before. I'm thinking no way I would want to do that.
Any thoughts on bolt pattern difference?

IDK why every thread I checked including ones I posted in have stated 67.1
So, I just went out and measured a set of stock 18's sitting in my Garage. I got 66.7xx even measured again after a quick sanding on the inner hub of the wheel. What I did notice is that the outer edge of the hub has eccess material on it, like a bump, then the lower part... Like a built in centering ring on the stock 18" wheels. If yours are in your garage go put your finger in there and you'll feel what I'm talking about. I wonder if my stock 19"s were like that too :hmm:
Anyways if you take to a machine shop and have them shave off that lip which may be 4-5 mm bump you may not even need a centering ring.
Don't know why I've never measured before...

Let me know how boring out the center goes. I tried my stock 19's on my '96 gmc sonoma and they wouldn't clear the hub. I think the f body and s10/sonoma are identical hub and pattern.

Well after doing some searching, Ive found some 4th gens with GTO rims (GTO's were 17's though I believe), similiar offset and bolt pattern to G8's. As GeoffA pointed out some G8's running ws6 rims for slick's also looks like some GTO's are as well. Beginning to think it might work.
