O.K., GM still has "Pontiac G6 GXP" Pro Stock cars fielding 7/8's of the Pro Stock field. I know the GXP bodies are more aero than the Cobalt and you know that the race teams aren't putting on Pontiac windshiel decals for free. Pontiacs officially dead now, and they'd be using the same chassis if they had a different body on. I'm just wondering what's the F'ing point? You'd think in the last two years they would have developed aero bodies that look like a Cruz or Regal.

It's not about Pontiac per se. It's about GM and money. Pro Stock requires a body style not more than eight years old and a corporate engine that matches. Why spend the money on R&D for a new body when the old one is still legal and competitive?
