I recently purchased some foose speed wheels in black for my black 09 G8 GT I ordered the 18x8 for the fronts and the 18x9.5 for the rear in hopes I can run a 275/40r18 in the back and a 245/45r18 in the front.

I ordered bfg g-force kdw tires to go with my wheels.

Being the impulse buyer that I am I never researched to see if this combo was going to fit properly but I have heard of people running wider tires than the 275's sometimes without rolling the fenders. The G8 is stock for now and has not been lowered.

Is this combo going to work for me or is there something else I need to order to make it all fit ie, wheel spacers?

What will make the tires hit something or not if the OFFSET of the wheels. What offset are your wheels?

I havent been able to find the offset of the wheels... the place the wheels were ordered from is apparently knowledgeable and said they will fit but that may just be in regards to bolt pattern not offset

+30 front and +35 for the rear maybe if they are the same as the camaro wheels

I just googled those wheels and in those sized with our lug pattern the fronts might be +30 or +40, the rears could be 30,35, or 40.

So you PROBABLY have +30 for the fronts, but who knows what they sold you for the rear. If you got the +40, that would be as far away from the fender than the other two. You could probably get away with a 265 or maybe 275 tire. But lowered I think you'd have to get rid of the lip for sure. If you got +30 for the rear that will stick out so far you might be ok or even rub with the stock size 245 tire. Might work might not.

I got the rims today and the rear are a +35, so a +35 18x9.5 with 275/40r18 I take it the hub diameter is 67mm? need to know if these are going to fit or if I should send them back

Proper front offset for your 8" wheel is +48, rear 9.5" wheel is +57. +35 in the back is way off.

Did the wheel vendor know what kind of vehicle they were intended for ?
